Arogya

The "Arogya" project was a multi-phase community initiative dedicated to the empowerment, health, and mental well-being of women at different life stages. The first phase focused on supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds through professional counseling on self-worth and hygiene, complemented by donations to support their dignity and confidence. The second phase extended this care to expectant mothers in the Kesbewa division, offering specialized workshops on maternal mental health alongside government-backed financial support for essential goods. Together, these efforts demonstrated a holistic commitment to public health advocacy and community service by addressing both the emotional and physical needs of women.

Through a joint effort between several regional clubs, members personally handled the physical renovation of the space and donated an extensive collection of educational books. By restoring the library’s infrastructure and resources, the initiative successfully reopened a vital door to the future for local students, demonstrating the powerful impact of united leadership in empowering the next generation through literacy.
